If you happen to be spending the Bank Holiday in the country, don’t fret! The weather’s set to get better, it’s a three day weekend and you’ll probably save a bit of money too. There’s still lots to do, so here’s a whip through our top exhibitions to visit over the long weekend

Art Without Walls
The weather looks set to pick up again this weekend, and there are plenty of places for you to enjoy the outdoors while soaking up some culture. Our top pick is Yorkshire Sculpture Park
With works from greats including Antony Gormley, Ai WeiWei and Yorkshire native Henry Moore as well as storytelling for children and other events, YSP deserves a bit of your time this Bank Holiday.

Further afield? If Yorkshire’s a bit out of reach this weekend, see if you can make it to theBarbara Hepworth Museum & Sculpture Garden in Cornwall. Showcasing a vast cross section of the artist’s modernist work, and just a five minute walk from Tate St. Ives if you really want to make a day of it.

A Secret Agent for The Day
The major exhibition at the Army Museum “Special Forces: In the Shadows” gives us a peek behind the curtains at the lives of those in the Special Forces. Through artefacts, personal testimonies, video and photography, learn about what it takes to train to become an expert in each of the five units, and how each ability comes into play on the field.
